Naginchandra Jagada's PledgePage

In spite of hunger and poverty, there are those who never beg for help....instead they pray for God to bless those who donate! My mission is help such poorest of the poor in India.

My name is Naginchandra Jamnadas Jagada. During the year 2002, I began my journey towards my goal by distributing 2000 sweaters and blankets with the financial support of my family. I continued the journey during my annual trips to India since 2003, with my most recent trip ending in March 2012.

Please look in the DIARY section of this webpage to:

2. read details from the most recent trip, newspaper articles regarding the work accomplished from 2003 to 2012.
3. applaud all those who support and assist me.

Please take a look at the PHOTOS section of this webpage to view the joy of giving. Choose screen resolution of 75% for best viewing. A small description is included at the bottom of the photo.

This humanitarian work needs your help. Every dollar or rupee that you can share would change the lives of thousands of unfortunate people. I promise that I will go personally to distribute each item by myself. I will bear all costs and the money received in donations will be used solely for the mission.

The camps in Rajkot for Jaipur foot were supported by the Indians for Collective Action (ICA), a Bay area non-profit organization serving the poorest of the poor in India for last 40 years. ICA has the Federal tax- exempt 501(C)(3) status and will accept donations for my work in India. Please mail the check in name of Indians for Collective Action with a note in the memo section in the check for Naginbhai's charity work in India and mail it to 3838 Mumford Place, Palo Alto, CA 94303. ICA will send a receipt to the donor and all the funds will be sent to me in India. For more ICA information, please visit their website www.icaonline.org.

Please feel free to share this pledgepage with any friends and family that you feel will be interested.

With best regards.
